Developing your own Portfolio of work
To Develop your own portfolio of work, you first need to show links to work you have already produced, or to upload examples here. You should include at least four examples of your creative work.
Your digital portfolio can include work in:
- Digital Graphics
- Youtube channel
- Animated Gifs
It must be:
- Your own work
- Work produced in studies at Middlesbrough College. (If you want to include work produced outside of college as well, that is fine - but you need to make it clear that it has been produced outside of college. However, most of the work which you show in your blog must be work that you have produced as part of your Middlesbrough College course).
- For each piece of work that you put up in your blog, include a comment or description to say what it is about and what was used to make it.
These examples of work which you have included will form the basis of new projects and explorations in digital media.
These new projects can be in different kinds of media. They could include:
- Digital Graphics
- Youtube Channels
- Animation
- Photography
If wanting to explore creative projects in other areas, such as
- Web Design
- Audio editing
- Video
for example - This can be done but should be agreed with the tutor involved beforehand. Due to the extra learning curve involved, this would need to be developed with at least three students.
Remember:
- You can choose to explore different projects in different media.
- All projects will be include peer review and evaluation.
- The projects should be something new
- The projects should be fun!
